If your access to Facing the Facts has been restricted in some way, this is the best way to correct or resolve the problem.
Error in Identity - A Restriction was Applied to Your Account in Error
If you believe the restriction was not intended for you, which can happen, please fill in the first box of the form below and send it to us - we will act with 24 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. These errors are typically related to spammers using false identities, or restrictions applied to someone else using the same USP provider and IP as you. Again, our apologies.
Errors in Judgement - A Restriction was Applied to Your Account in Error
If you believe a restriction was placed on your account unfairly, which can happen, we are all human, this is the best way to address it.
We do ask that you wait at least 48 - 72 hours to allow the matter to "cool" before making a reinstatement request. Please fill out the form below and state you position and your understanding as fairly as you can.
Requests for reinstatement are reviewed by the entire staff and the matter will be reviewed in detail. Decisions are judgment calls, and they are not always correct. The purpose of this process is for you to clarify your view of the situation from both sides - and for use to do the same - and for us to reconsider our action.
The outcome of these reviews is decided by a vote of the volunteer staff. Our objective is to resolve matters - not punish.
Request for Reinstatement after Suspension
If you were suspended for a cause, but have reconsidered your position, this is the best way to address it. We are all human and emotions can flare.
We do ask that you wait until the "cooling period" has expired, or if one has not be stated, at least 1 week after the incident. Please fill out the form below and state you position and your understanding as fairly as you can, and how you think we all can best move forward.
Requests for reinstatement are reviewed by the entire staff and the matter will be reviewed in detail. The purpose of this process is to see if we can put the matter to rest and move on in a manner that is best for the community as a whole.
